About Our Pastor

Pastor Bill Sidorvich

Bill’s Background

“I was raised in a Christian home and literally grew up in the church, surrounded with godly influences. One night, I asked Jesus into my heart while my dad was doing his usual bible devotions with me. After that time, I watched God work in my life as He brought me to a point of complete surrender. And now, He is my everything!”

Call to Ministry

“When I was 12, I was inspired by a very dynamic Jr. Pastor (coincidentally his name was “Bill”) and thought to myself, “Maybe I’ll do that someday.” When I went to college, God patiently led me through a process of elimination until His calling on my life was obvious and I was ready to obey.”

Education

    • AA of Liberal Arts Degree – Los Angeles City College
    • Bachelor of Science in Bible Exposition – Biola College
    • Master of Divinity – Talbot Theological Seminary

Transition to MCC

“I moved my family to Big Valley Grace Church in Modesto for a one-year internship after I graduated. MCC called Big Valley when their first pastor resigned; I gave a ‘trial sermon’ shortly after and became the pastor in 1986.”
